A S DULAT BOOK LAUNCH

RAY EVENTS launched in September 2015 with a Public Conversation on a book entitled KASHMIR: THE VAJPAYEE YEARS by A S Dulat, a former head of Research & Analysis Wing (RAW), India's external intelligence organisation. A participant in it was Dr Farooq Abdullah, who has been Chief Minister of the Indian-controlled state of Jammu & Kashmir several times as well as a cabinet minister in India's central government. This took place at Courthouse Hotel in the West End of London.

DALAI LAMA ADDRESS

The next event was also in September 2015 - a coverage of an address by the Dalai Lama of Tibet at the London Coliseum in Piccadilly. The subject was ahimsa (or non-violence), which he defined as India's contribution to the world. This was filmed in entirety by RAY-NEWS, also a unit of RAYMEDIA LIMITED, and licensed to television broadcasters in various parts of the world.

STATE OF INDO-BRITISH TIES

In November 2015, days before Narendra Modi's official visit to Britain, a Public Conversation was organised on the State of Indo-British Ties between a former Indian Foreign Secretary Krishnan Srinivasan, Liberal Democrat leader and Secretary of State in the 2010-2015 British government Dr Vince Cable and Professor Lord Bhikhu Parekh of the Labour party. This was also to mark the publication of Dr Cable's book AFTER THE STORM - relating to his period in office in 2010-2015 - and was hosted at the Royal Over-Seas League in St James.

A QUEST FOR PEACE

Most recently, also at the Royal Over-Seas League, Khurshid Kasuri and Salman Khurshid, until a few years ago foreign ministers in Pakistan and India respectively, participated in a Public Conversation on A QUEST FOR PEACE between the two countries. This was connected with the publication of Kasuri's book NEITHER A HAWK NOR A DOVE, which claims India and Pakistan agreed to a four-point formula on resolving the Kashmir dispute when Kasuri was in office. Khurshid disagreed.
